At 10:52 a.m. a store reported a female had been inside and had opened numerous fruit containers inside the store, rendering them unsellable. The female is known to officers who will be making contact with her.

At 1:22 a.m. a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy requested K9 Eros on a traffic stop just north of the city. K9 Eros positively alerted to the odor of drugs coming from the vehicle, and a search revealed a gem bag containing methamphetamine residue. Both occupants were arrested for warrants, possession of drug paraphernalia, and numerous counts of bail jumping.
At 8:50 a.m. a caller reported a hit-and-run crash. She reported she came outside to find someone had struck her vehicle sometime overnight, causing damage to the rear of her vehicle. A crash report was completed.
At 5:38 p.m. a store reported a female had stolen merchandise from the store. Officers made contact with the female, and she was cited for shoplifting.
At 5:39 p.m. a restaurant reported finding a window damaged from a pellet gun sometime within the past week. A neighboring business reported the damage occurred within the past two to three weeks. Investigation continues.
At 6:16 p.m. a caller reported she had struck a pole in a parking lot. A crash report was completed

At 5:41 p.m. a vehicle was reported to have hit a tree on someone’s property and fled the scene within the past two days of the damage being noticed. No further information could be gathered on the vehicle that struck the tree.
At 11:51 p.m. officers responded to a report of multiple individuals who were believed to be intoxicated that had left a business and gotten into a vehicle. Officers made contact with four individuals in a vehicle in the business parking lot. After speaking with the individuals, it was believed that multiple of the individuals were under the influence. While searching one female, a warrant was confirmed for her arrest. It was also found that another female in the vehicle had an open bond condition of absolute sobriety. Due to the indicators of impairment observed by officers, the female was taken into custody for violating bond conditions. While searching the property of one of the females in custody, multiple baggies of methamphetamine were located and ultimately seized. Both females were taken to the Lincoln County Jail.

At 3:17 p.m. an attempted fraud was reported. The scammer stated that they were part of social security and requested the individual’s social security number and her bank routing number which she obtained. The reporting party stated that they had notified their bank and frozen all accounts. As of that time, the caller had not lost any money.

At 5:58 pm. officers received information that a female was picking up her child around 7:00 p.m. at a residence on S. Pine St. The female had an active warrant through Lincoln County. The female was arrested for the warrant and transported to the Lincoln County Jail.
At 12:59 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop at the 1000 block of W. Main St. The male driver was cited for operating without a license and speed.

At 2:25 a.m. a caller reported her ex-boyfriend had come to her residence wanting to be let in. She did not open the door for him and he kicked the door, damaging it, and let himself in. When he saw she was on the phone with authorities, he left. He will be charged with criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct.
At 3:04 a.m. officers assisted a female who was locked out of her apartment complex.
At 8:08 a.m. a male reported he had exchanged nude photos online with a female who then demanded money or she would release his nude photo to his friends and family and would report she was a minor to authorities. The scammer was found to be in Thailand. The male was instructed to close the online social media account.
At 3:29 p.m. a store reported a female had stolen clothing from their store and had since returned back. The female was cited for retail theft.
At 8:42 p.m. an officer was investigating another incident and learned of a domestic disturbance that had occurred the previous weekend. The female reported her ex-boyfriend wanted a ride which she refused. He then struck her multiple times, placed his hands around her neck causing difficulty breathing, and pulled her hair. During the incident, the female attempted to call police, and he broke the device she used to try to summon help and took her cell phone. The male will be charged with domestic battery, disorderly conduct, strangulation/suffocation, intimidation of a victim, felony bail jumping, and false imprisonment.

At 1:52 a.m. a male reported he had exchanged nude photos online with a female who then demanded money or she would release his nude photo to his friends and family and claimed a family member works with INTERPOL and would “ruin his life.” The man did not send any money to the scammer and closed the account.
At 12:45 p.m. an officer observed a male walking whom he knew had a warrant out for his arrest. The officer confirmed the warrant was valid and arrested the man. The man was found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe, as well. The man requested the officer drop some property he had off at a residence. Upon arrival, the officer had information a female was staying at the residence who also had warrants for her arrest. It was confirmed the female was present at the residence, and she was arrested for her warrants.
