August 22
1:36 p.m.- An officer responded to a local nursing home for a theft complaint. The caller stated there was money stolen from a resident. Investigation is ongoing.

August 23
3:54 p.m.- An officer responded to the probation and parole office to take a female into custody for a probation violation. The female was transported to the jail.

8:42 p.m.- Officers responded to an anonymous complaint of an underage drinking party. Upon arrival, numerous juveniles were seen running into the house, shutting off the lights and closing the curtains. Contact was made with the homeowners who refused to allow officers inside and denied any underage drinking. They were warned they would be cited if they were providing or allowing the underage activity. A while later, officers returned to the residence for a disorderly conduct complaint involving a juvenile who was at the residence and was consuming alcohol. Both homeowners were cited for Adults Encouraging Underage Violations.

10:07 p.m.- Officers responded to a disorderly conduct complaint. The caller stated her nephew was refusing to leave a residence where an underage drinking party was occurring. The juvenile eventually came outside and an altercation ensued between the juvenile and another female party. The juvenile struck the female party numerous times in the face causing injury. The juvenile was taken into custody and is being charged with substantial battery and was cited for underage drinking.

August 25
5:54 p.m.- An officer took a report of a theft of a chainsaw.

6:01 p.m.- Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of North Genesee Street for a report of damage to property. The officer spoke with the reporting parties who indicated that a male and female had been walking down the street adjacent to their residence and were arguing. When the reporting parties asked them to keep it down as there was children in the area, the male suspect came running at the reporting parties and broke part of the fence. Possible suspects were identified and the investigation is ongoing.

6:50 p.m.- An officer took a report of damage to a door to a residence. Possible suspects were identified and the investigation is ongoing.

August 26
1:01 a.m.- A caller reported a fight among several participants. Officers arrived on scene and located several people that had been fighting in the rear of the residence. One female became argumentative with officers while they investigated the complaint. She was found to have a warrant for her arrest through Wauwatosa PD. She was arrested for that warrant. One male was reported to have fled prior to officers’ arrival. The rest of the involved parties agreed to provide written statements at a later time due to their high levels of intoxication. Further investigation to be completed.

1:01 a.m.- An officer stopped a vehicle after finding the driver had a warrant for his arrest through the Merrill PD. The man was arrested for that warrant and he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. A charge of possession of methamphetamine was added.

12:42 p.m.- A male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of Probation & Parole.

1:19 p.m.- A female was arrested for a probation violation at the request of Probation & Parole.

4:50 p.m.- A store reported they had a female they caught attempting to leave the store with carts filled with unpaid merchandise. Given the value of the merchandise the female was arrested for felony shoplifting.

7:53 p.m.- A caller reported someone had entered her unlocked vehicle a week prior and stole a social security card and temporary registration plate.

August 27
11:57 a.m.- A caller reported someone stole a ball hitch from a vehicle sometime in the past five hours.

6:18 p.m.- A caller reported someone had taken his cell phone. He was able to track its whereabouts through a GPS app. It was located and recovered.

August 28
12:26 a.m.- A caller reported the neighbor was in their yard intoxicated and threatening to kill her and her family. When an officer arrived on scene the man became aggressive toward the officer and refused to comply with the officer. The man was subsequently tased and officers were able to take him into custody. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting an officer.

7:10 p.m.- A caller reported someone stole a bicycle from his yard.

9:04 p.m.- A caller reported a female had been at the restaurant where her daughter works and caused a scene inside including calling an employee a vulgar name. It was found the suspect and an employee there do not get along. The officer will be speaking to the suspect to gather her version of events.

10:41 p.m.- A caller reported hearing the sound of breaking glass outside. He observed a male on a bicycle throw a purse at a female. The male then left and the female walked away crying. The two were unable to be located. The sound the man had reported had been the contents of the purse spilling onto the ground.

11:35 p.m.- A 17-year-old male was cited for violation of curfew ordinance after he was found riding his bicycle around town after 11 p.m.
