At 2:28 p.m. dispatch advised officers that a female party was in the lobby of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Officer who had a warrant through Lincoln County. The female party was arrested for her warrants.
At 3:39 p.m. a caller reported an attempted fraud. The caller stated someone was posing as a life lock employee asking him for money to unlock his computer. The scammers put a virus on the caller’s computer and asked him for money to unlock it. No money was paid and the computer was fixed by Best Buy.
At 9:56 p.m. a caller reported a group of people that would not check out of their hotel room. Contact was made with three female parties who were asked to leave. After identifying all three females, one came back as having a warrant for her arrest from Marathon County. The warrant was confirmed and the female was arrested.

At 5:27 p.m. a caller reported they located a bag/purse inside of the garbage and needles fell out of the purse. Drug paraphilia was located inside the purse. This is an ongoing investigation.
At 10:30 p.m. a caller reported that an individual had threatened them with a gun while driving. Officers and Deputies attempted to locate the vehicle, but were unable to do so. This incident occurred in Jurisdiction of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, and the investigation is being handled by them.
At 11:35 p.m. a caller reported that her landlord was pounding on her door attempting to evict her. Officers arrived on scene and attempted to speak to the caller, but were unable to, due to a male party intervening. The male party was ordered by officers multiple times to go back into his residence, but failed to comply with their orders. This male party was placed under arrest.

At 8:23 a.m. a caller reported he found someone had entered his garage, removed the fuel cap to a snow blower, and broken a gas can. Officers were aware of a male in that vicinity who had a habit of huffing gasoline. Contact was made with him, and he admitted he had entered the garage to huff gasoline. He was arrested for criminal trespass to dwelling, abuse of a hazardous substance, and bail jumping.
At 7:48 p.m. a caller reported possibly being involved in a scam. The caller had placed a job resume online and received interest. The supposed company sent a check for supplies and requested several gift cards back. The caller will be checking with their bank to ensure no money was taken from her account during the scam. She did not send any gift cards that had been requested.

At 3:14 p.m. a caller reported finding a syringe at a park. The syringe was properly disposed of.
At 4:20 p.m. a caller reported someone had scratched his vehicle. Investigation continues.
At 4:59 p.m. a caller reported someone had purchased two cell phones using his account, without his knowledge or consent. Investigation continues.
At 8:16 p.m. an employee at a factory reported finding a gem bag with white residue lying on the floor. The item was turned over to an officer, and the residue was consistent with methamphetamine.
At 8:50 p.m. a caller reported another vehicle had backed into her vehicle and left the scene. She had followed him and pointed out that he had struck her vehicle. The other driver denied this, and she suspected he was under the influence of intoxicants. Investigation continues.
At 9:50 p.m. a caller reported suspicious vehicles and possible underage drinking at a parking lot. Contact was made with one of the vehicles and it was confirmed the 19-year-old males inside had been drinking. Both were additionally found to have open bonds prohibiting them from consuming intoxicants. When the passenger exited the vehicle, a handgun was observed lying by his foot on the floor. Four additional long guns were lying on the back seat of the vehicles. The men were arrested for being armed while intoxicated, and bail jumping, and the passenger was additionally charged for carrying a concealed weapon. Both were cited for underage drinking (2nd offense).

At 8:58 p.m. officers were dispatched to a business in Merrill in regards to a suspicious person. The individual was reported to have been at the business for several hours. Officers spoke with the individual and found that he was homeless. Officers were able to assist the individual in finding a place to stay for the night.
At 1:32 a.m. officers were dispatched to a trespassing complaint. The reporting party told officers there was an individual inside their garage. Officers arrived on scene and found an individual lying on the ground inside the garage. The individual was arrested for several different offenses, with one of them being intentionally abusing a hazardous substance.

At approximately 3:11 p.m. officers were dispatched to the area of Riverside Ave. in reference to an individual sitting on the sidewalk hunched over. Officer arriving on scene found the man had cut his finger and was attempting to make his way to the hospital. EMS arrived on scene shortly after and transported the individual to the hospital.

At approximately 6:05 p.m. officers were dispatched to a residence for an individual acting disorderly. Officer arrived on scene and found an individual had refused to leave the reporting party’s home after being asked to several times. The individual was arrested for disorderly conduct for refusing to leave the reporting party’s residence and for their loud and boisterous behavior.
At approximately 7:39 p.m. officers were dispatched to a residence for two individuals who were passed out. One individual was reported to have no pulse. EMS arrived on scene and assisted the individuals. One individual was transported to the hospital, and the other was arrested, as they had a warrant for their arrest. A search warrant was later issued for search of the home, and several items of drug paraphernalia were located.
