09-12-22
At 9:53 a.m. a juvenile was located at the festival grounds. He reported his teacher told him to walk home because he was ill. This was found to be untrue and the juvenile was transported to school.
At 2:48 p.m. a theft of money was reported at an assisted living facility. Investigation is ongoing.

09-13-22
At 3:51 p.m. a theft complaint was reported, the male suspect was located and found to have outstanding warrants, and he was taken into custody.
At 5:49 p.m. a male party cursed at a female party in a local gas station and he was cited.

09-14-2022
At 6:53 p.m. a vehicle was stopped and the driver was issued a citation for failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign.
At 7:32 p.m. a vehicle was stopped and the driver was issued a citation for failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign.

09-15-2022
At 2:21 a.m. a vehicle was stopped for failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. Upon making contact with the driver, the driver was found to be under the influence of intoxicants and put through the roadside sobriety tests. Based on the officer’s observations, the driver was taken into custody for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated.
At 8:17 a.m. a vehicle was reported as stolen. Investigation is ongoing.
At 12:45 p.m. a two-vehicle crash with injuries was reported. As a result of the crash, the road had to be shut down for a brief time and both vehicles had to be removed by tow truck. A crash report will later be completed for the crash.

09-16-22
At 8:00 a.m. a male came to the PD to report he had been the victim of a scam. He was contacted on Facebook messenger from someone telling him he could make easy money by purchasing gift cards and sending the codes to another person. The man sent several codes before determining this was a scam.
At 8:42 p.m. a male and female arrived at the jail to turn themselves in for active warrants. The male’s warrant was confirmed and he was escorted into the jail. The female did not have a warrant at this time and was released.

09-17-22
At 7:35 a.m. an officer observed a male and female sleeping on the tonneau cover on the bed of a pickup in a driveway. The officer stopped to check their welfare and the female was found to have a warrant for her arrest. She was arrested for that warrant.
At 7:39 a.m. a caller reported someone struck his vehicle the previous day while he was at a store. The driver of the striking vehicle left the scene without reporting the crash. A crash report was completed.
At 9:42 p.m. a tavern reported an intoxicated male at the business threatening patrons and staff. It was found the man was making an employee uncomfortable with comments he was making and by following her around. Another employee refused to serve the man anymore drinks, given his behavior, and he threatened to strike her. That employee’s son then interjected and the man then threatened him. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct. While in custody, the man became resistive with officers and he was subsequently charged with resisting an officer. The man made numerous threats to batter the officers and was additionally charged with battery or threats toward law enforcement.
At 10:42 p.m. a caller reported someone followed his daughter home and then began yelling obscenities and threw trash in their yard. The daughter’s father recorded some of the event and provided a registration plate. The vehicle was later found at a convenience store, and the male occupant was identified by the father as being the suspect. The male denied any involvement. He was cited for disorderly conduct.

09-18-22
At 2:24 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the occupants not wearing seatbelts. The passenger was found to have two warrants for his arrest and was arrested for those warrants.
