Amber L. Shea, age 22, of Eagle River suffered fatal injuries as the result of a two-vehicle crash on USH 8 at McCord Rd. near the Town of McCord, northwest of Tomahawk in Lincoln County, on March 15, 2022, at approximately 7:45 a.m. Shea was driving a black Chevrolet Malibu eastbound on USH 8 when her vehicle crossed the centerline into the path of a westbound semi-tractor trailer unit. The driver of the semi was uninjured.
The Wisconsin State Patrol and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded, and USH 8 was closed for several hours due to the crash investigation. The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash.
