At approximately 2:20 p.m. a man reported that his ex-wife had been sending him harassing text messages and possibly stalking him. An officer investigated and spoke to both parties involved. The suspect was warned for the harassing text messaging and the alleged stalking behavior.
At approximately 6:26 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a lot on Thielman St. for a report of child abuse. The reporting party stated that her son came home with a bruise after the child was at the father’s place for the weekend. The officer called and spoke with Lincoln County Social Services. Social Services and the law enforcement agency of jurisdiction will be following up with the mother regarding this incident.
At approximately 8:10 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Mill St. for a welfare check. The welfare check was in regard to an elderly female who was on the phone, but the phone dropped. The reporting party wanted officers to make sure everything was okay. Officers made contact with the elderly female party, and she indicated that she was okay.
At approximately 10:43 p.m. officers responded to an apartment complex on Woodbine Ave. for a suicide threat. The reporting party indicated that her male friend had a knife and was threatening to harm himself. Officers responded and spoke to the witnesses and the suspect. NCHCC was contacted and agreed with an emergency detention for the suspect. The subject was transported to North central Health care center in Wausau.

At approximately 7:11 p.m. officers were dispatched to an apartment complex on Woodbine Ave. in regards to a suicide threat. The reporting party stated that her friend came back to the residence to pick up his truck after being released from NCHCC. Her friend threatened to drive his truck of the road. Officers then made contact with the male juvenile at his residence. The juvenile was assessed by NCHCC and was later transported to NCHCC in Wausau.
At approximately 9:26 p.m. an officer responded to a residence in the 1900 block of Jackson St. for a noise complaint. The anonymous report indicated that the neighbor was revving his engine. An officer responded and made contact with the owner of the vehicle. The owner was verbally warned for a noise ordinance.

At 10:55 a.m. a caller reported damage to her garage. It appeared someone had backed into the garage causing the damage.
At 12:06 p.m. the Street Department reported someone had spray painted some phrases in a snow bank outside of residence(s) that contained vulgar language. A rake was used to obliterate the phrases.
At 8:25 p.m. officers received information that a male was at a residence and had a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and officers went to the residence. Officers found the man asleep and took him into custody for the warrant. He was found to be in possession of a syringe containing methamphetamine and a gem bag containing methamphetamine. He was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Throughout the remainder of the night and early morning hours officers, were busy removing tree limbs, trees, signs, trash cans, and other debris from roadways during the heavy winds.

At 3:17 p.m. a business reported an employee is believed to be stealing money. Investigation is ongoing.
At 9:17 p.m. a caller reported a driver had struck a stop sign at an intersection. Officers made contact with the driver who displayed characteristics of intoxication. He refused to perform field sobriety tests and was arrested for operating while intoxicated. A crash report was completed.

At 5:04 a.m. a female reported her boyfriend had struck her following an argument. The boyfriend departed for employment prior to officers’ arrival but he turned himself in later in the day. Based on the female’s statement, the man will be charged with domestic disorderly conduct.
At 10:12 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation. It was found the driver did not have a valid driver’s license and he had an open bond through Marathon County Court that stipulates he is not to operate a motor vehicle without a valid license. He was subsequently arrested for bail jumping and operating while revoked (OWI related) third offense. The female passenger was found to have a warrant for her arrest through Marathon County and was arrested for that warrant. The driver was additionally cited for the registration violations.
At 3:13 p.m. a caller reported a man had displayed a knife following an argument with her boyfriend. It was found the suspect had been allowed to live in the garage for some time and was today at his property. An argument arose between them over missing video games and the man reportedly opened a pocket knife and kept it at his side during the argument. The man is known and investigation continues.

At approximately 3:49 a.m. Lincoln County Dispatch advised of a suspicious male walking westbound on Riverside Ave. toward Tannery Dr.. Multiple residents called stating that the male party was knocking on doors saying that there were people out to kill him. Officers were able to locate the male at a residence off Tannery Dr. Upon investigation, the male party was arrested for a probation violation.
At approximately 4:33 a.m. officers were dispatched to a local motel in reference to a welfare check. The report indicated an intoxicated elderly male staying in a hotel room with his neighbor’s 13-year-old child. The elderly male was arrested for disorderly conduct and two counts of felony bail jumping.
At approximately 8:19 p.m. officers were dispatched to a local department store for a report of two female parties concealing merchandise. Upon investigation, one female party was cited for municipal retail theft.

At approximately 2:41 p.m. officers were dispatched to an apartment complex at the 300 block of E 2nd St. for a report of people yelling. The male party had an active warrant through Department of Corrections. The male was arrested for a probation violation.
