On Wednesday, September 9, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a search warrant at 1012 E 6th St in the City of Merrill.
This home is located directly across from Normal Park.
At 11:20 a.m. SRT members made entry into the home; there they found methamphetamine, firearms and stolen property.
Those Arrested included:
* A 32 year old man, who lists both homeless and Wausau as his address, he was arrested on a warrant for violating the terms of his probation.
* A 35 year old Rhinelander woman for violating the terms of her probation.
* A 43 year old Merrill man for possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia and for maintaining a drug trafficking place.
According to a social media post Wednesday evening by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office; this is part of a regional investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in the community. Additional charges and arrests are possible.
The search warrant and arrests are part of a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Merrill Police Department and Central Wisconsin Narcotics Task Force investigation.
